I've spent more than 15 years in entrepreneurship, corporate and start-ups: business strategy, marketing, sales, product development and sustainability, across food, retail, e-commerce, fashion, climate change, events, tourism and holistic well-being. I co-founded Beleaf & Co, a fair-trade tea brand connecting South and South, and I've built ventures from idea and strategy through growth and exit.
I know what it feels like to hold a big vision and be the one who has to figure everything out, organise everything and make it happen. And I know what it takes to move from doing it all yourself to building with leverage.
I immigrated to South Africa in 2013, and for the past 6 years I lived a nomadic Life&Style. I travelled the world, from Portugal to Mexico, Costa Rica, Sri Lanka, Bali, South Africa and Guatemala.
From the outside I was living the dream, but I still felt ungrounded.
My path has been anything but conventional. It includes healing adoption wounds and childhood sexual trauma, and it taught me that healing happens in the body, not in the head. Feeling was never the problem. Staying in my body was. Body Liberation is my somatic method, and it's the practice behind everything I build.
Today I operate from an upgraded player identity: the businesswoman who builds, now incorporating all the wisdom and medicine of the past two decades, fully playing the game called life on Earth. I work smart and play hard.
Right now I'm building a coaching business with two pathways and a library of self-paced courses, growing the Suni Foundation, developing a new lifestyle brand and getting ready to immigrate to a new country. None of it is finished, and I'm playing anyway.
It has always been my intention to give back to the East from what I earn in the West. Because business can be more than growth, it can also be a way of giving back. So 5% of your investment goes directly to the Suni Foundation.
